When you submit the contact form on this site, the following information is collected: your name, email address, company (if provided), the type of inquiry or project, your message, the language/locale you submitted in, and a timestamp of when you submitted it.

This information is used to:

Like most websites, this site may collect technical usage information automatically as you browse, including: the page you visited, the referring site or source, your browser and operating system, a general device category (desktop, mobile, or tablet), session or visitor identifiers, interaction events (such as button clicks), and approximate usage or session duration.

This site does not collect your precise geographic location (such as GPS coordinates). Where a general country or city may be inferred by a third-party analytics provider from your IP address, that is governed by that provider's own privacy terms, referenced below.

This site uses Google Tag Manager (GTM) to manage the tracking technologies described in this policy. GTM itself is a tag-management system — it does not, by itself, collect analytics data — but the tags it loads (such as Google Analytics) may collect the technical information described above. Where required, GTM is configured to hold non-essential tags back until you grant analytics consent, as described in the Cookie Policy.

When you consent to analytics, this site uses Google Analytics to understand overall website usage, page performance, traffic sources, and aggregate visitor behavior. This helps identify which content is useful and where the site can be improved.

Advertising personalization is not currently configured through Google Analytics on this site.

Where enabled and after analytics consent, this site may use Microsoft Clarity for session interaction analysis, heatmaps, and usability analysis, to help improve the website experience. Clarity may process interaction information (such as mouse movement, clicks, and scrolling) according to Microsoft's own privacy terms, which govern that processing independently of this policy.

Separately from Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, this site runs its own first-party analytics system to measure page views, sessions, a visitor/session identifier stored in your browser, time spent on pages, and general navigation activity. This data is used for site performance and usability analysis and is stored using Supabase (see below). It is only activated after you grant analytics consent.

Contact form submissions are stored securely using Supabase, a database and backend infrastructure provider. Submitted inquiries are not publicly accessible — they are only visible to Ahmed Gamal through an authenticated, access-controlled dashboard.

Resend is used to send an email notification when a contact form is submitted, so inquiries can be responded to promptly. Resend processes the message content required to deliver that notification.

The Work page embeds YouTube videos using a click-to-play design: a static thumbnail image is shown first, and no YouTube player or iframe loads until you actively click play. Once you click play, YouTube (Google) may receive information such as your IP address and device/browser details in order to serve the video, governed by YouTube's own privacy policy. Where practical, embeds use YouTube's privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain, which reduces — but does not eliminate — the information YouTube may process when the player loads.

This site links out to LinkedIn, Behance, WhatsApp, and YouTube. These are independent platforms that operate under their own privacy policies. Visiting or interacting with them is subject to those platforms' terms, not this policy.

Where required by applicable law, non-essential analytics technologies (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and this site's own first-party analytics) are activated only after you grant consent through the cookie banner or preferences panel. Essential technologies needed to run the site remain available regardless of your analytics choice. This policy describes the technical consent behavior implemented on this site; it does not make jurisdiction-specific legal claims about which laws apply to your visit — see the note on scope below.

Contact inquiries may be retained for up to 24 months unless a longer period is necessary for an ongoing professional relationship or a legal requirement. Analytics data retention depends on the settings configured within each provider (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and this site's own database) and may differ from the contact-form retention period above.

Information collected through this site may be processed by the service providers used to operate it, including:
